The Rotary Club of Metro Yangon held its monthly meeting on February 27, 2025, at Pan Pacific Hotel, Yangon.
The meeting commenced with President Daw Yee Wyne Oo ringing the Rotary bell and delivering the opening speech. This was followed by a New Member Introduction presented by Membership Chair Daw Khin Win Nwe.
Subsequently, the Chairman of Shwe Taung Cement Co., Ltd., Uncle U Aik Htun, was presented with an Honorary Member Certificate by the Rotary Club of Metro Yangon. In recognition of his generous donation of MMK 15 million to the club, an Appreciation Certificate was also awarded.
The event continued with a special talk on the topic “Corporate & Organizational Culture” delivered by U Tin Zan Kyaw, Founder & Chairman of DBU International College. After his insightful discussion, President Daw Yee Wyne Oo presented him with an Appreciation Certificate along with a token of gratitude.
To wrap up the meeting, commemorative group photos were taken, and birthday cakes were cut in celebration of February-born members. Finally, President Daw Yee Wyne Oo rang the Rotary bell once again to officially adjourn the meeting.
