The success and growth of an organization or community depend greatly on the knowledge, perspectives, mindset, and continuous efforts of the people within it. With this in mind, Rotary Club of Metro Yangon (RCMY) continues to promote learning and capacity building through its Community & Vocational Development initiatives.
What began as awareness-sharing sessions and introductory vocational training has now progressed toward more practical and applicable vocational skills that participants can directly utilize in their workplaces. As part of RCMY’s commitment to supporting the professional development of its members and their respective organizations, these training programs are designed to provide practical knowledge that can contribute to greater workplace effectiveness and organizational growth.
In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an increasingly important tool in the workplace. Beyond simply having access to AI, knowing how to use AI tools systematically and effectively is becoming a key skill for maximizing their potential and improving productivity.
On 27 August 2026 (Thursday), RCMY conducted a vocational training session as part of its Club Activity, focusing on practical ways to integrate AI into workplace tasks. The session covered practical prompting techniques, effective use of AI tools, and workplace-related applications, providing participants with knowledge and practical approaches that can be applied to their day-to-day professional activities.
It was particularly encouraging to see participants actively engage in discussions, share their perspectives, and demonstrate genuine interest throughout the training. Their enthusiasm reflects the importance of continuous learning and professional development in an ever-changing working environment.
Through these vocational development initiatives, RCMY aims to encourage its members and their organizations to continuously learn, strengthen their capabilities, and apply new knowledge in practical ways to better support their respective fields of work.
