Today, March 12, 2026, in honor of World Kidney Day, the Rotary Club of Metro Yangon, in collaboration with Victoria International Hospital, is hosting a health education seminar to raise awareness about kidney health.

Kidney disease is a “silent” health issue that is increasingly prevalent today, often stemming from common conditions like hypertension and diabetes.

Guided by our motto,
“Be Mindful of Kidney Health,”
our club is dedicated to prevention, early detection, and supporting treatment for those in need within our community.

To a patient, a single dialysis session is more than just a medical procedure. It is a precious opportunity to breathe, to hope, and to survive for another day.
With the compassionate goal of extending lives, we are proudly supporting the establishment of the Karuna Pala Kidney Dialysis Center. 🏥
Project Highlights:
• Equipped with 5 Dialysis machines.
• Operating 6 days a week.
• Aiming to provide life-sustaining treatment for up to 15 patients per month (based on a schedule of 2 sessions per patient per week).

The Rotary Club of Metro Yangon is incredibly honored to be part of this initiative. This project is a labor of love, built by the pure intentions of the center’s donors, Rotary members, doctors, nurses, volunteers, and supporters.

We invite our entire community to join hands with us. Together, we can give a kidney patient one more day, one more morning, and a renewed chance at life.
