The Rotary Club of Metro Yangon (RCMY) was delighted to participate in the first Rotary meeting of the 2026–2027 Rotary Year, chaired by Assistant Governor Poe Phyu, together with Past Assistant Governor Su Su Tin, Immediate Past Presidents, and fellow Club Presidents from across the district.
The meeting provided an excellent platform for clubs to present their priorities and strategic plans for the new Rotary year. Each club shared sustainable service initiatives designed to address the evolving needs of local communities and create meaningful, long-term impact.
Guided by Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self,” participants exchanged ideas, strengthened partnerships, and explored opportunities for collaboration to develop projects that will improve lives and contribute to stronger, more resilient communities.
We were also proud to congratulate Immediate Past President May Myat Mon Win on her appointment to the Zone 11B District Public Image Committee. We are confident that her leadership and dedication will further enhance Rotary’s public image while promoting Rotary’s values, service projects, and positive impact to a wider audience.
As we begin this new Rotary year, we look forward to working together with fellow Rotary leaders to strengthen our communities, inspire meaningful service, and create lasting impact.
Together, let us build stronger communities, create lasting impact, and continue Uniting for Good through Rotary.
