A remarkable donation totaling MMK 165 million has been generously contributed by U Kyaw Min and Daw Thi Thi Lwin (Shwe Pyi Nann), together with their family, in support of RCMY’s kidney disease treatment and prevention initiatives.

This contribution includes:

MMK 100 million towards the foundation fund for the establishment of the Karunapala Kidney Center
MMK 65 million dedicated to dialysis machines

This meaningful support plays a vital role in the initiation and development of the Karunapala Kidney Center.

In Myanmar, dialysis centers are extremely difficult to establish and sustain due to high operational costs. The Karunapala Kidney Foundation is committed to addressing this challenge by providing life-saving dialysis treatment to patients who cannot afford care, while also implementing preventive programs through health education initiatives led by medical professionals and collaborative efforts with organizations both locally and internationally.

Kidney disease affects not only the patient but also the entire family, creating emotional and financial hardship. For many, the inability to access dialysis can mean the loss of life itself.

This donation stands as a truly noble act—bringing comfort, hope, and a chance at life not only to patients but to their families as well. It is more than a contribution; it is a life-changing gift.

Let us come together to support this meaningful cause and give the gift that matters most—the gift of life.
