For flood-affected communities in Laymyethna Township, clean drinking water and food are among the most urgent necessities. However, with vast areas covered by floodwaters, reaching individual homes and evacuation shelters to deliver these essential supplies has become a major challenge. Recognizing this urgent need, Happy Friday Group (Kandaw Gyi) has generously donated a 20-foot fiber boat and engine, valued at MMK 23,000,000, to support emergency flood relief efforts and help deliver clean water, food, and essential supplies to those in need.

A boat may become simply a piece of equipment once the floodwaters recede, but while communities remain surrounded by water, this boat becomes a “lifesaving boat”—helping deliver clean water, food, essential supplies, and emergency assistance to people who need them most. Therefore, this generous contribution is not only a timely act of giving, but also a meaningful gift of life, helping sustain the lives of flood-affected people by ensuring that essential necessities can reach them when they need them most.
