A generous donation of MMK 65 million has been contributed by U Nay Oke (St. Paul), Chairman of the Myanmar Private Schools Association, together with his family, in support of RCMY’s kidney disease treatment and prevention initiatives.
This meaningful contribution is dedicated to the establishment of the Karunapala Kidney Center, specifically towards the essential foundation fund required to initiate the project.
In Myanmar, dialysis centers are extremely challenging to establish and sustain due to the high operational costs involved. Recognizing this need, the Karunapala Kidney Foundation is committed to providing life-saving dialysis treatment for patients who are unable to afford care, while also actively implementing preventive programs. These include educational awareness initiatives led by medical professionals and collaborations with local and international organizations to ensure effective and long-term impact.
Kidney disease does not affect only the patient—it impacts the entire family, bringing emotional and financial hardship. For many, the inability to access dialysis means not just suffering, but the loss of hope.
This donation is more than financial support; it is a profound act of compassion that brings comfort, relief, and renewed hope to patients and their families. It is truly a gift that helps sustain lives and restore dignity.
Let us come together to support and extend this life-saving effort—because every contribution is a chance to give someone the gift of life.
