🎉Event Summary
The Rotary Club of Metro Yangon (District 3350) successfully held its 5th Annual General Meeting and New Member Induction Ceremony for the 2024-25 term at Sedona Hotel. The meeting was attended by Honorary President U Aik Htun, fellow Rotarians, Board of Directors (BOD) members, and new members.
The agenda for the event comprised the following key items:
– Presentation of Service Projects
Service Project Chair U Toe Wai Win provided a detailed report on the club’s service initiatives carried out during the 2024-25 term.
– Overview of Club Activities
Secretary Daw Khine Zin Win presented a summary of the club’s activities and philanthropic efforts throughout the year.
– Financial Report
Treasurer Daw Kyi Kyi Thaw presented a transparent financial report, detailing fund management and expenditure for the fiscal year.
– Membership Update
Membership Chair Daw Khin Win Nwe discussed membership updates.
🙏🏻The club extends its deepest gratitude to Honorary President U Aik Htun for his presence and guidance. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Uncle U Htay Myint for being honored and attending the anniversary general meeting, as well as for his pivotal support in the fundraising efforts of the Rotary Club of Metro Yangon (District-3350). Additionally, during the donation drive for earthquake victims organized by the Rotary Club of Metro Yangon (District-3350), Uncle U Htay Myint tirelessly contributed to raising funds for the cause. From 2020 up to the present year of 2025, he has taken the lead in fundraising initiatives on behalf of the club, dedicating relentless effort to social welfare activities. For this, we are deeply thankful. Special thanks also go to all Rotarians, BOD members, and club members for their active participation and unwavering support throughout the year.
✨The event also featured a new member induction ceremony and presentations on Rotary’s mission and activities. Rotary Club of Metro Yangon (District 3350) remains committed to carrying out more impactful initiatives in the 2025-26 term.
