As part of its August activities, the Rotary Club of Metro Yangon (RCMY) donated MMK 2.7 million to support environmental conservation efforts, including forest preservation, land acquisition for reforestation, and reservoir construction at the Pan Pyoke Lat Buddhist Monastic School in Kyauktan San Pya Village, Bago Township, as a charitable contribution from RCMY members.

In addition, RCMY contributed school uniforms, educational materials, and nutritious food supplies valued at MMK 2.5 million to support 250 students at the school.

Altogether, the total contribution, both in monetary and in-kind donations, amounted to MMK 5.2 million, made with heartfelt generosity and commitment to community service.

As part of their hands-on volunteer efforts, RCMY members also planted a total of 350 trees on-site, furthering their commitment to environmental sustainability.
